02

Discovery, Starting Material & Source Files

Clarifies how the project begins and whether editable/source files are being requested.

Starting material provided by builder / client
Discovery meeting required?
Editable / source files requested?
Important: Source files such as SketchUp .SKP, D5 scenes, editable layouts, textures, assets and working files are not included by default. If requested, they must be quoted and approved separately in writing. Hand-drawn sketches, verbal instructions and in-person meetings may require interpretation time and can affect price and timeline.
03

Client Relationship

Clarifies who is requesting, approving and transmitting feedback.

Who is the direct client for this project?
Who will consolidate and approve feedback?
Important: Changes requested by the final owner/end user after builder approval may require a new quote or change order, even if those requests are transmitted through the builder.
04

Project Complexity & Information Status

Helps estimate scope, risk and possible change orders.

Quoting note: A project with missing information, undecided owner preferences or design exploration may require a higher estimate, additional review rounds or change orders.
